We generally pour our wines at a handful of events each year, so please sign up for our newsletter in case we’re near you!

WWCF “Bro-BBQ”

Early this year, the Women Winemakers & Culinarians Foundation put on ” Sunday Supper”, a fundraiser with a vegetarian meal created by two of our Board Chefs and wine by two of our Board winemakers. The Board’s menfolk did all the serving (no, they did not do the dishes).  We’re flipping the table this time, with the “bros” planning a carnivorous bbq with grilled goodies (yes, even vegetables). The WWCF is a 501c3 non-profit.  Grab your tickets here – space is limited!

Wednesday, July 30th, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Seagrape Wine Dinner under the Oaks

When I first purchased this property, I envisioned enjoying wine and a meal under some of the magnificent trees here. Well, it took years to get the place cleaned up enough, but let’s do it!  Chef Joy Reinhardt is creating a four-course meal to pair with Seagrape’s wines….including the launch of the new 2023 Pinot Noir, Hibbits Ranch!

  • Gazpacho Shooters and Mini Crab Cakes (Sauvignon Blanc)
  • Pork Croquettes with Salsa Verde (Pinot Gris Rose) (First)
  • The Starter Farm Tomatoes, Basil and Burrata (Chardonnay) (Second)
  • Grilled Petite Beef with Whipped Potatoes (Pinot Noir) (Third)
  • Grilled Stone Fruit with some “stickies” from my library

$95 per person

La Paulée dinner at Babcock Winery

Our La Paulee Dinner will be honoring our Vintner of the Year, Norm Yost and 25 years of Flying Goat Cellars. Now, some of you may remember that Norm is the only one who would hire me as a harvest intern. I worked alongside him as he launched Flying Goat waaaay back when! A sparkling wine reception will start the evening and be followed by a delicious BBQ dinner by High on the Hog catering. Wines for the dinner tables will be hosted by Seagrape and other member wineries, but in the spirit of La Paulee guests are encouraged to bring their special bottles to share at their dinner table. Grab tickets here.

Star Party

Star Party

Back when I was at Buttonwood, we would bring in the guys from the Santa Barbara Astronomical Unit to show and tell about our beautiful night skies.  And here at my place, I marvel at the clear night skies, the Milky Way, planets and often these days, rocket launches. These “star geeks” are bringing the telescopes here that evening (sliver of a moon, great forecast), and we’ll have a catering truck for pre-viewing noshing. Can’t wait!  As Chuck from the SBAU says, “Hasta Nebula”! Your ticket will include a donation to the Astronomical Unit, tacos from El Culichi and a glass of wine. Additional tacos and wine can be purchased.
